Design Philosophy

I work with JavaScript frameworks a lot, and would like to migrate to a Python and markdown based site to avoid build process and npm dependencies. That’s for future me.

I don’t like AI-generated posts.

My site is inspired by many of the blogs that I’ve loved reading.

Evolution

My site has been:

• WordPress
• Jekyll on GitHub Pages
• Next.js with mdx-based posts

It’s markdown files in a directory for now. No CMS. I often write with a nvim-termux setup on my phone .

I think the next iteration will be a static site generator with markdown posts, and no build process.
